Our Story

For David, art has been a lifelong journey. Exposed to creativity at an early age, he was the kind of kid who spent hours building toy wooden swords, tinkering with model cars, or adding details to his train diorama. That same curiosity and drive never faded — it only grew stronger. David’s willingness to take on challenging projects “just to give it a shot” has led him to master a wide range of media: wood, glass, metal, welding, painting, 3D modeling, machining, CNC, and more.

After decades working in construction, David realized it was time to follow his true passion — creating art that not only reflects his skills but also brings joy and meaning to others. He is a self-taught graphic designer who moves seamlessly from hand sketches to digital media, and his artistic creativity remains the one thing that grounds him, brings him peace, and makes him happiest.

Christina’s path to art came later in life, after she and David married young and began building their family. While raising two sons, Christina began a successful career in insurance, working her way from receptionist to business owner by relying on her strong leadership and organizational skills. After selling her agency to reduce stress and reclaim time for creativity, she continued her career as an office manager — a role that honed her ability to keep people (and especially David!) focused and on track.

Over the years, Christina discovered her love of stained and fused glass, creating stunning suncatchers, décor, and custom windows. She also became the lead embroiderer in the couple’s apparel decoration business, bringing artistry and precision to every piece. Today, she continues to expand her creative horizons, learning new techniques and reviving past skills, with more unique works to come.

Our Partnership

Together, David and Christina have shared nearly three decades of marriage built on love, perseverance, and a shared passion for creativity. They support, challenge, and inspire one another — blending David’s restless curiosity with Christina’s focus and organization. The result is Hollow Point Trading Co.: a place where their combined talents take shape in one-of-a-kind handmade creations.
